Slechts 8 maanden na de publicatie van The Circle komt de Amerikaanse auteur Dave Eggers half juni met al weer een volgende roman. Deze krijgt de titel Your Fathers, Where Are They? And the Prophets, Do They Live Forever? en gaat over een NASA-astronaut die gevangen wordt genomen.
De nieuwe roman is al de derde sinds 2012, wat laat zien dat het de schrijver momenteel niet aan inspiratie ontbreekt. Het vorig jaar verschenen boek
De cirkel werd ook in Nederland een bestseller, mede dankzij de verkiezing tot DWDD-boek van de maand november. In deze orwelliaanse roman laat de schrijver zien wat de macht en invloed op het persoonlijke leven is van grote bedrijven als Facebook en Google.
Wanneer zijn nieuwe boek in Nederland zal verschijnen is nog niet bekend.

In a barracks on an abandoned military base, miles from the nearest road, Thomas watches as the man he has brought wakes up.
